Welcome to Cheshunt School

Dear Parents and Students,

It gives me great pleasure to introduce our school to you.

Cheshunt School is a vibrant learning community where students are cared for, receive a high quality education and every opportunity to be successful.

At Cheshunt School we have high standards in terms of hard work, academic success and self-discipline. There is an expectation of every student to make a contribution to the life and community of the School. We also have high expectations of our parents through their support for the School and their son or daughter's education.

As a School, we are ambitious and forward-looking; we seek to be the very best. Ambition is a quality we also expect in our students, none more so than aiming for a place in our Sixth Form. We seek to provide innovative teaching and learning, a curriculum relevant to a changing world and excellent facilities.

We look forward to welcoming your son or daughter into Cheshunt School and working with you to ensure they achieve at the highest level.

Visitors to the School often remark on the positive feeling and the good relationships that exist within the School community and beyond. We have high expectations of the students in the School in terms of their work, their relationships with others, their appearance and their contribution to the success of the School. We believe strongly in an effective partnership in learning between teachers, students and their parents.

We have a commitment to the development of ICT by providing the very best facilities for our students. We aim to develop in our students the skills and learning that will see them highly regarded by institutions of higher education and employers.

We hope you enjoy visiting our website and the many pages of information and opportunities they bring to communicate and connect learning at home with the School.
